From the A1 take junction 58 onto the A68 and follow the signs for Bishop Auckland and Shildon, down the dual carriage way at the roundabout take the second junction onto the A6072, at the next roundabout again take the second junction. At the next roundabout you are on the Shildon bypass take the second road off following the signs for the National Railway Museum. Passing Shildon Motor Co. on the right at the mini roundabout turn right, follow the road down the incline at the bottom, with the National Railway Museum on the right, take the left turn before the bridge onto Dabble Duck Industrial Estate. The museum is 300 meters on the right hand side of this road.
